                                           The work is inspired by the Russian avant-garde, 

                                             especially Aristarkh Lentulov, one of the most 

                                         colorful and radical artists of the period 1910–1916, 

                               and one of the founders of the artist group "Jack of Diamonds."

                       Xan Krohn (1882 - 1959) was a Norwegian artist who lived and worked

                                                  in the Russian Empire for over ten years.
