                                        printmaker, draughtsman, caricaturist, and illustrator.

                          Jane Avril (1868 – 1943) was a French can-can dancer made famous
                           by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec through his paintings. Extremely thin,
                                        'given to jerky movements and sudden contortions',
